What is the control group and what is the experimental group??

My hypothesis is...

If given the choice between Abercrombie, American Eagle, and Hollister, then the majority of average teenage girls will choose American Eagle as her preferred clothing store.

What is my control group and what is my experimental group in this experiment?

I surveyed 20 girls and asked them out of those three stores, which was their favorite.|||controlled group is the girls because they didnt chage and experimental is the stores because they are different ones|||This is actually a survey. The terminology that you are using, control and experimental group, are used for science experiments, not social experiments. It might be a good idea to find professional words used commonly in surveys, as they would be more appropriate to your project.|||the control group is the group that is not receiving the intervention or drug the experimental group is the group that is receiving the intervention in your experiment you do not have a control or experimental group because you are not manipulating anything|||You don't really have an experiment here. What you've done is performed a survey.|||The control group are the girls who chose anything other than American Eagle. The experimental group are the girls who chose AE.
